I'm... I'm tired of pretending. When I wore a mask every day, the drama kept coming, and I had to pretend even more, and the drama just got worse and worse. I don't want anymore of that... I've nearly lost how many of my friends that I truly care about because of that stupid mask.
I slowly... lost myself during those years. I came to forget who I was. All I would remember are the terrible things... the horrible memories I wanted to forget... all the drama that came to my life. I blamed myself for everything, even though I couldn't do anything about it. I... just did. Those years were the worst of my entire life, and I just want to move on from that.
Ever since I just ripped off that mask... I was suddenly relieved of the heavy burden that I always carried with me. It got a whole lot lighter, and I felt like an entirely new person. I could finally smile and laugh genuinely again, and I slowly got to know the me that was the result of the past, and I'm still trying to get to know that person.
My friends and I.... we're a lot closer than before. By the time school ends, there's actually going to be someone who will know of the worst things that have happened to me, the things I've never ever shared with anyone else before. Because I know that person can handle it. I just have to slowly let things go, and things will go right for me.
Life will be the way I want it to be if I take the actions that will make life be that way. It's all up to me, you know, to change my life. And... it's up to you to change yours. If you keep thinking this way, that you're never going to amount to anything, that life would probably a lot better off without you, then that's probably how it's going to be. I'm looking at the brighter side of life now, and it has become a lot brighter.

What does that statement mean?
When I hear from a guy that he lost his virginity hecka early, I think, "Okay... here's a guy who let's his you-know-what make his decisions for him." Not a guy I really want to get closer to.
When I hear that a guy didn't lose his virginity until later in life, it's comforting I guess.

Well, that's pretty rare. But if a guy told me that those were the circumstances under which he lost his virginity, I might think it rather sweet and cute. But most of the time, that's not the case.
