No, the actual reason was that with the final tests on 31st we found a huge list of stuff which were not properly working. We could have gone live in the late evening but we thought it was not a good idea to do so, and moved to the next day

Short answer, your avatar file is too big, make it smaller and it will work in threads aswell.
