UK6 Statistics

  • Overdue update, and also it is a random day rather than a fixed time period between updates since I can only do this when I'm not busy in game or at work :)

I have had to drop the raiding stats unfortunately, as i didn't keep all records up to date each week, and not all the alliances have ribbons for each week for me to check that way, which made the margin of error too great to include it.

    * the average pop of RH is listed as 10 simply because I only looked at top ten, but it is in fact lower than this if smaller alliances were to be included.

The shrinkage of D&D is probably the biggest difference since the last lot of statistics, and the consolidation of both wings to one. Not shown in these statistics is the creation of ATOM at the expense of D&D. With Purge and D&D together, I was surprised to see such strong performance for Shannara, would be interesting to know if any fights with Shannara helped cause the drop in D&D's dominance (in numbers).

Elsewhere, it looks like RH are struggling since these statistics which were taken last night look out of date already, with RH losing members.

There are a number of interesting alliances who do not make it into the top 5 here in population, such as ATOM, ZZzzz and a few others, next time I'll try to include more alliances in the statistics.

  • It is the most interesting server I've seen for while, simply because there doesn't seem to be an already established/pre-formed alliance to dominate, most look as if they have a group at their core, but picked up new members. It really is impossible for me to tell who will win. Everyone has a chance.

unite uk6 and show up against him?

I think the best UK6 players (in my opinion) are already signed up :p

  • Goodbye to RH and D&D. PURGE doesn't look to be too hot either, they're falling like flies.

    UK3 2018 knock.knock. (MM)

  • I would put it in my diary to do a regular update but I only ever use diaries at the beginning of January and then lose them :D

This time I have put 2 alliances on each map, so that I can fit in the top ten by population, since some of the smaller alliances (by population) are actually having a big impact on the server. This way I can get ten on the 5 attachments limit per post, don't know why I didn't think of that before!

Since there are some new alliances into the top ten and some have gone completely, the increase/decrease in rank has become too much hassle for me to state in a meaningful way and has been discarded for this post.

I did add a new category to measure performance, and that is "Leavers". I have taken out duplicate leavers, and I think I have removed any leavers who left for chiefing, so it is inactives, quitters who deleted, and also people who left to join another alliance who are includd in this number. What does this tell us? Probably not a lot unless you can find out the reason for people leaving. The longer an alliance lasts, this number will naturally get higher, but when the numbers show very high numbers of leavers combined with high defence points a few assumptions can be made. Equally, some of the alliances who have been playing since close to the start of the server (TCF) who have very low numbers of leavers also tells another story. The no1 place goes to the alliance with the lowest leavers as a percentage of current membership.

If there are other statistics anyone would like me to add, I'm open to suggestions.

Again, I've not really got any in depth analysis, I'll leave that to others, but I will say that thousands of D&D defence points are from a few of their now deleted members spiking farms, and not just with heros, so in my opinion their demise is deserved for that reason alone.

Back to the numbers though, as D&D and other alliances lose members, the averages for def and off become a lot higher and slightly less useful, but I've left them in since D&D remaining members are still very much active.
