  • In response to your comment, I've never heard of a privacy law that precludes two parties to the sensitive content being precluded from discussion from being able to mutually agree to waiving that confidentiality. If such a privacy law exists, I would be keen for you to cite the relevant legislation to me.

  • Sorry to say, but the adminstrator is clearly correct.

Edit: Maybe the admin has followed one of the black magic links, cause the 5 minutes thing was really pulled out of thin air :whistling:

  • You need to remember that Admin is the person that also believes there is a domain with 20 active servers. I think she perhaps has discalculia and can't count?

  • I think I managed to remove them all. Let me know if I missed something.

Thank you and welcome to the UK forum. It seems staff arrivals aren't officially announced any more, but it has been noticed that both you and @MuchachoNL have joined us recently so welcome to you both :)

    You're welcome.

There was no announcement probably because I have been with the team for years now, but yeah, only recently did I join UK 'officially'. (Same is the case with Muchacho.)

  • So I decide to take a look into this and oh, there is nothing scary here.

The reason the connection to the forum main page is not fully secure is the image, as it is loaded from an unencrypted source, which happens to be the travian blog, via HTTP. This means that image is sent in plaintext, so a man in the middle could see you are loading a hero icon, but that's all, the rest of your forum connection is encrypted and secure.

    These are the forum cookies:
    wcf21_cookieHash
    wcf21_password
    wcf21_userID.

Nothing extraordinary here. The other cookies are from sites such as imgur (such as SESSIONDATA), because a forum user has a signature uploaded there.

As for this this page of this thread, you can add this as another resource loaded via http. It's a signature picture

As for the game, I am seeing the site as fully secure, nothing is loaded via http. If you are seeing such an error, you can use your browser's devtools to figure out what is loaded via http.

Sure, if you could elaborate on how to do that on firefox :)

Unless this means that it's loaded via http?

I do not use Firefox, so I don't know how to do this in Firefox, but Network Monitor - Firefox Developer Tools | MDN may be a place to start. Firefox blocks insecure content in https sites by default, however.

In Chrome, the devtools are opened with F12. Under the Security tab, it will tell if there is any mixed content and asks you to reload the page if there is. After doing so, it will give you a link to a network record, listing all insecure content.

It appears the bolded content is loaded via http and would indeed give such an error. As I am not seeing that error, it may be browser specific.
