Help me with a harrassing player!

  • Hi! my neighbour is harrassing me by attacking my village frequently per hour and its irritating!

i wanna do a revenge on her Main village with my 2 only villages (which i have now) to the ground with her main village, which contains 900+ inhabitans and my village contains 400+ (with both of my villages).

So my question is: How many military untits shall i attack with (from my both villages) so her main village will go down totally to the ground? Can anyone answer on that?

I'm Thankful for an answer! :D

  • It depends on how many cats you have and their level of research … and don't forget the rams for the wall … it will take 20 double shot cat waves( 40 single shot) and the number of cats in each wave depends on the research level in the smithy. If you have to do multiple runs and wait for troops to return then it could take many more runs as she will be able to rebuild in between.

  • Make use of the combat simulator to determine what it will take. 400 troops vs 900 tells us nothing. 400 ECs vs 900 maces, you can kill her easily. But if you attack her with 400 phlanx and she has 900 of almost anything, you aren't going to fare well.

Reach out to her, and explain you are new, and would like to learn the game. Ask for help from someone in the game. If she refuses, try for a different team.

  • Oh you sweet summer child. The harassing is only beginning for you my friend.

Yes, I've built my fair share of WWs. Won a few, lost a few. Played far too many rounds for far too long. Made a lot friends and enemies.

Yes, I've played as an anvil and as a hammer. I'm only playing now because of all the friendship I have built over the past ten years. I love Travian but I love the community even more.

Envy me for I have everything, Fear me for I have nothing to lose.

The last time I took out a village in a single run, it took 1200 cats, I believe. Don't forget to level them in the smithy and include several hundred rams for the wall. You will also want a substantial clearing wave in front of the cats as well as escorts for each wave. Based on your current situation, I would estimate you could possibly be there in 6 months if you start now and really concentrate your efforts.

What do you mean with "Cats"? I'm a gaul.

I have played this game for 5 years and i have started this year, last summer, after a looong pause. So i know how to play this game and i have sent her 2 msgs but gets not answer back. i'm a gaul.

  • "Cats" is slang for catapults (trebuchets for Gauls), which are used to destroy buildings and fields in enemy villages.

From your original question, it sounds like you're not quite clear on the difference between population and troops, or how to destroy a village. Try looking through the guide section for explanations on troops and attacking.

To destroy your enemy's village, you'll need enough troops to kill all of their defense, plus rams to destroy the wall and catapults to destroy the buildings. The number of troops depends on how much defense they have, and the number of catapults depends on the level of the buildings... I would assume you'll need several thousand troops and several hundred catapults at least.

    And yet...

Gotta be talented to look after 2 WW's simultaneously. Or crazy... Crazy seems more like it.

The more I read of OdinLoki's posts, the more I want to play alongside him. Not for the results, as frequently good as they are, but for the sheer fun he seems to have at it. Would + rep if I could, man. Always enjoy reading your stuff... and mostly cringe at the results contained in 'em. :crying:

He's a nut and the more the odds are stacked against him, the better he seems to come out of it.

  • Having a good ol' laugh lol ... He was probably a farm for 5 years. I wouldn't call that "experience" :P

Dude .. If you want to learn how to play this game, contact one of the top 3 alliances and politely tell them that you're a newbie and that you'd like to learn the game. If they are nice, they'll take you in and mentor you in exchange for your loyalty. Play a few rounds with the team and learn all you can. Network as much as you can, meet new people and you'll join the big leagues.

But, stop trying to convince everyone that you've been playing for 5 years.
