  • What's better to welcome the New Year other than having this wonderful dish as my last dinner of 2018? 8o:love:8)

I cooked this classic Swedish steak,

served with duchess potatoes, béarnaise sauce of tarragon and garlic, grilled tomatoes, and asparagus wrapped with bacon,

accompanied with French red wine Réserve de Bonpas Côtes du Rhône and Swedish snaps O.P. Anderson Petronella.

    Ingredients for 2 people:

    · 2 sirloin steaks, approximately 150 g each

    · Salt

    · Ground black pepper

    · 1 tbsp oil, for frying

    · 1 tbsp butter, for frying

    · 400 g duchess potatoes

    · 100 g asparagus spears of French beans

    · 4-5 slices of thin bacon

    · Béarnaise sauce, lightly warmed

    · 4 baby tomatoes, halved

    · Finely chopped tarragon, to garnish

    How to cook:

    · Season both sides of steaks with the black pepper.

    · Preheat the oven to 200°C.

    · Prepare an oven tray to be covered by a baking paper. Put some oil and butter on it.

    · When the oven is smoking hot, season the steaks on each side with salt.

    · Lay down the steaks on the baking paper, along with the duchess potatoes, tomatoes, and asparagus wrapped in bacon.

    · After around 20 minutes, take out the duchess potatoes and tomatoes.

    · After another 15-20 minutes, take out the steak and asparagus wrapped in bacon.

    · Garnish the steaks and sauce with freshly chopped tarragon. Serve immediately.

Note: This dish is usually served on a plank, but since I don't have planks at home, I served it on regular plates.

  • Hello,

so I was hungry this morning and I made myself a good ol' toastie.

    Here's the recipe:

    - toast bread
    - some cheesy cheese
    - some hammy ham

    - toastie machine

    - optional: ketchup or some other sauce

    How to assemble the toastie:

    - take 2 pieces of toastie bread

    - put cheese and ham in between

    - put in toaster and "cook" (grill?) for a few minutes

    - decorate

    - eat your toastie while you raid your neighbour
    - profit

    Some pictures:

  • "Tinginys travian edition"

    So you would need:

    800gr of square biscuits

    2 x 400gr sweetened condensed milk

    Cocoa (according to your taste)

    1 glass of sugar

1 pack of butter (180 gr)

    Some coconut meat

Actually it's very easy to make. Beforehand you need to break the bisquits in the smaller pieces, after you done that, you need to melt the butter in the pot, add sugar, mix it up with a spoon (1), then add condensed milk boil it up (for 8-12mins~). Then you add the Cocoa (2), mix it up, add bisquits mix it up as well (3) and spread it on cooking paper. You can also add coconut meat, it tastes better with it, I made a travian name from it :P (4).

You know the old joke, Eiaiestyi? Man shows up at the Pearly Gates, sees this guy in a pin stripe suit, and a briefcase, a cigar, prancing about. He says to Saint Peter, 'who's that guy?' Saint Peter says 'ahhh, that's just God. Thinks he's Jofke.'
