The Book of Wisdom - Episode 3 - The Theft

  • Hi Ridder Huma

This is Goldfish IX from TS4 server.

If The thief has gone through to the door, it has not been blocked by books after he closed it. It looks that after the thirf fled, librarian threw the books around to make it look like they had a scuffle. And anyways why would a running thief will stop to close the door behind him.

    Thanks

answer: the librarian claims that the thief has escaped through the door shown in the picture. but, there are many books behind the door and this means that if the thief had made a huge mess behind the door, he couldn't open it. in fact, if the librarians story is correct, there must be a totally clean area behind the door, and the area is one fourth of the circle that the width of the door can make.

so, the thief has escaped, then the librarian has closed the door and thrown many books on the ground AND behind the door, then acted like a victim :)

Answer: The books are still in front of the door, which, from the look of the hinges and outline should open inward. If the thief had gone through that door to escape, they would be pushed back enough for someone to fit through.

  • The mess is behind the closed door, which implies that it couldnt be made by the thief, and was made after the thief run and the door was closed. The thief couldnt have made the mess from inside the building after running and shuting the door closed.

  • The reason why the guard had suspected he had been involved in the theft is due to the books at the door. The librarian lied saying the theif went through the door but from the look of the door, it can only be opened in one direction and if it was opened in that direction the books wouldn't be placed agaisnt the door like it is in the image. Therefore the guard decided, that the librarian had lied.

Appologies if this is the wrong area for me to post the answer.

If the thief ran through the door, someone closed the door and put the books in front of it after the thief left. The librarian was the only one there.

  • If the thief would've ran away through the door, the books on the floor were knocked back with the door move.

because the books didnt seem to move with the door, aparrent the guy was lying and there was no thief.

Answer: Because of the mess that thief had left behind. Cause the books were fallen there on the ground behind the closed door which means the librarian put the stuffs there himself.

Answer: The thief couldn't have fled through the door the librarian pointed to. The books are right in front of the door, and the door opens inwards. If the thief had fled through that door, the books would have shifted. Instead, they are against the closed door.

This means that the librarian either placed the books in front of the door after the thief left, or there was no thief at all, or he stole the book himself (hid it somewhere maybe? :D). Either way, the librarian is lying and should be arrested!

    Hi
    Answer Question:
The books thrown at the door make him not believe her! Because it opens inside the library and when the book is behind it means that someone has dropped the book there after it closes.

  • The door in picture opens inwards. If the thief ran out through the door opened/closed it. It should not have items (books etc) aligned like showed in the picture. Does not matter if the door was open or not, since when it was closed, the books on the floor doesn't align as they are showed in picture.

Conclusion: Thief could not have ran through the door, (without someone else remaking the scene). So the librarian was the thief or was helping the thief to escape.

Because the 'mess' is right up against the door proving it was 'made' after the door was shut or that the door had never even been opened.

The door is shut with books piled at the bottom. The books would have been moved by the door if it had been opened. The mess was made by the librarian. The librarian is lying
