They will receive suggestions from every domain so it is possible not every idea coming from us (Anglosphere) will get an answer straight away.
This thread will be open to everyone.
I will update my first message with new content each week for the information to be easily retrieved.
I will post a new message in this thread each time I make an update.
Since it is quite long, I added spoilers; just click on them to show the information within !
Finally, just to be clear, the first sentence is always a suggestion from players, followed by an answer from Travian Games in italic.
Please feel free to post your comments in this thread.
If you have new suggestions that would require talks and debates, I would advise you to create a specific topic here to address your suggestions to keep everything smooth and clear.
So let's start from April until now and I will continue updating you every Friday.
- Include the resource production in "dorf1" on mobile optimization :
"The main issue is lack of space as the resource production is quite big".
- Option to spy on incoming attacks and counter those attacks midway on the open field while removing the bonus from the wall, residence, etc :
"Very cool suggestion, we will discuss this with the ambassadors and team and see what comes out of it".
- Reports: Add losses of trapped troops to the battle report losses statistics :
"This is quite complex, for example – what about freeing allied troops ? Where do we draw the line ?"
- Add filters in the reports, for example: ‘Do not show any reports that involve less than X units’ :
"There are already many filters and adding an input field doesn’t fit and would crowd the screen too much".
- Make all reports visible within the confederacy, not just within the alliance. :
"We have this on purpose to enforce the feeling of brotherhood within your alliance. Sharing these reports would remove another layer of difference between alliance/confed".
- Add medals for being part of the winning alliance in any gameworlds and also to the endgame scroll winners :
"If this is in regard to permanent medals, we keep the number of medals low on purpose so that they have value".
- Having the winning Hero take some items when the opposing Hero dies :
"This would open up many possibilities for fraud and making the game even more hardcore then it already is. This suggestion is not an option for us".
- Game is too time-consuming, option to have a longer building queue by default :
"The master-builder gives you a queue for 5 buildings which is quite long already".
- Ability to see the improved attack and defensive points in the barracks and stables if troops are improved by an alliance bonus or Smithy :
"The original idea is to not show it on purpose to still have some mystery around the battle but we will take another look and will consider the request".
- A wish to have emoji of the buildings available to use in an IGM (in-game message) :
"Recognizability of buildings is already difficult and making them mini size would not be helpful".
- Adding 1 or 2 buttons inside the Rally Point to filter between normal attacks or raids :
"We might consider this for the future but there are already quite some filters. We need to see if this can work without cluttering the menu".
- A button to remove all offers on the market as right now you need to delete one by one and each time the page reloads. This is especially inconvenient on mobile devices :
"Noted, in general, we’re working in the direction to remove most page reloads in general".
- Ability to cancel a planned celebration from the queue if it hasn’t started yet :
"We don’t want to implement this as it brings all the ‘save resources through raid’ and ‘abort queue on raid’ mechanics which we already have".
- Option to cancel extended beginner protection :
"We don’t want to implement this as we want to have it clear for every player when an account comes out of BP''.
- Create a shortcut button for the big Barracks and Big stables, as we have for normal buildings :
"Not planned as these buttons would not be used most of the time and will clutter up the screen too much. It also teases a feature for newer players which is not needed".
- Option to move around buildings in your village under certain conditions such as no outgoing/incoming troops and/or training troops etc :
"Made a note for further internal discussion".
- Option to send a general message to the entire confederacy and not just to your own alliance :
"Not planned as we want to avoid spamming too many people at once".
- A way to prevent big accounts raiding small accounts. New and smaller players have a hard time developing as they’re being raided by big players around them. Example: Putting a daily attack limit to much smaller accounts (if it is bigger than 2:1) And/or introducing a gold feature for small accounts hiring temporary troops as extra protection :
"Made a note for further internal discussion".
- Request to increase the speed of merchants at levels 5, 10, 15, and 20 with 25 ? So at level 20, the speed is then doubled :
"Currently being discussed with the Ambassadors".
- Request to adjust the Tablet of Law so they can also be used to increase culture points in the same way it increases loyalty :
"Currently being discussed with the Ambassadors".
- Ability to see the merchant’s time of arrival from their route before sending them to a specific destination :
"We will see what is possible to include this in the menu".
- Option to increase the value of Trappers in mid/late game by allowing the owner of the Trapper to kill the trapped troops. And/or the trapped troops will be automatically killed if the attacker attacks that same village again :

- Ability to copy a farm list to a different village :
"Noted – We want to improve the farm list and are currently looking at our options".
- Ability to filter out Raid reports so only the real attacks are visible to filter out ‘fakes’ :

- Allow sitters to be able to participate in auctions and exchange silver/gold via sitter option, so sitters are able to fulfill the 100 points daily bonus :
"Noted – Will be discussed with Ambassadors along with other sitter change requests".
- 3300 Gold package for Anglosphere and Nordics :
"I’ve forwarded the request".
- Option to add the same farm to different farm lists :
"We are looking into ways on how to improve the farm lists in general".
- Option to see when was the last time the farm list was sent :
"This would add too much information on the screen making it too cluttered. Right now I would not include this option".
- Ability to cancel send resources similar to canceling already send troops :
"We will not be implemented to avoid players baiting each other and canceling in between. Resources should behave differently than troops".
Due to the German bank holiday, feedback from end of May/early June will be given next week.
In the meantime, I've decided to go through feedback from early 2020 that is still interesting to share!
- Adding more quests to the beginning stage of the game:
"We’re planning to overhaul the Quest system in the future to have more quests."
- Ability to sell more items at a single auction or to have a higher limit of ongoing auctions:
"Thanks for the feedback, we will look into this possibility."
- A Countdown clock on the server start page rather than only showing the start time:
"Thank you for this suggestion, we will look into this possibility."
- Option to choose which village becomes your new capital when the Capital village is destroyed:
"This is not an option as then there would be a moment when there is no capital village at all."
- More sitter slots for Alliance Leader so they’re able to help new recruits and not having to give up their own def and off sitters:
"This is on our to-do list – no timeframe available though."
- Add a pop-up to the village names on a farm list that shows coordinates, name of the player who owns it:
"Will think about this for the future – a pop up won’t work for mobile users but perhaps a collapsible extension could work."
- Expansion regarding Sitter's right to allow them to destroy buildings:
"At the moment we don’t want to increase the importance/abuse-ability of the sitters."
- Due to the prerequisites of certain buildings, you can’t start construction until you have a certain level. For example, allow to put treasury in building queue when the MB is currently being upgraded to level 10.
This would add too much complexity when for example you delete the upgrade that is a prerequisite etc. Instead, this option is available in Master Builder.
- Adjust troop production – Convert troop production of X Lego into Y Imp for example with a 50% resource penalty or a gold charge.
Troops produced should be a strategic commitment. "Just" being able to retrain troops is adding complexity but no strategic depth.
- Allow troop production queue to be canceled without returning resources to free up queue time especially for later stages of the game.
Strategic decisions should still mean commitment, freeing up the queue cancels that commitment.
- Option to "lock" a certain unit in the barracks/stable so you do not train the wrong unit by accident.
A similar request was made in the past and asked to ‘favorite’ a certain unit for this purpose which has been added.
- Introduce ‘Dry Season’ from Travian Kingdoms into Travian: Legends.
We will investigate the Dry Season.
- Troops gaining experience during a battle, newly trained troops should not be as good as experienced troops. Similar to the Smithy but through battle.
A similar feature was available in a different game but added too much complexity and too many variants between your troops which made it so that players no longer had a clear overview.
- Ability to move around the troops you have already forwarded rather than calling them back and then reposition them.

- Add a wall for Natar artifacts and plans to avoid Vet players building cavalry armies and catapults and even it out more for newer players.

- Add more artifacts of each type / enable special artifact to be activated for the entire alliance (1 activation per week for example)
More artifacts would mean less competition around them. Alliance artifacts are something we have for the annual special.
- Ability to build multiple Trade Centres.

- Different colors or symbols between attacks and raids to quickly check reports and attacks on the member list.
Adding another color or symbol would get too confusing for newer players as the game is already difficult to learn.
- Ability to ‘favorite’ a different tab of the same building in different villages. Instead of having the same tab in all your villages.
Too complex, what happens when you found a new village does it need to be reset first? What happens when you conquer the village? Reset to default, keep how it was set up? Too many variables making this very complex, unfortunately.
- Ability to add notes and/or checklist at the side of your village overview below the link list. So you have your notes open while inside the village. Bonus option – able to make different notes for different villages.

- Suggestion to have a timer on confederation reinforcements – be part of confederation for 12 hours before you can send/receive reinforcements.

- [Annual Special] An artifact overview so you can quickly see in which village which artifact is active rather than skipping through every treasury on its own.

- In dorf3 troops overview, include more details to show which troops are being trained and in what building and how long the queue is.
This overview does have a tooltip that shows the type being trained. Would it be sufficient to add the extra info to this tooltip?
- To improve the Gauls, defensive players mainly have their defending another village and would like some more defensive options. Create a building that would make catapults miss their target for a certain % of times.

- When conquering an oases and an attack lands before extra reinforcements and therefore changed owner, the arriving reinforcements should return and not reinforce.

- Request to have the forwarding troops option also implemented on Vanilla servers.
Will only be considered if the merging is also implemented, will be continued to be discussed internally.
- Ability to forward settlers to a different location when the planned location has been occupied while they were on their way.

- When settlers reach destination that is occupied they return at 2x speed.

- Add an option to terminate settlers that will bounce so you can train new ones from scratch and don’t lose out on travel time.

- Show the last 8 attacks when clicking on a village instead of the current 5.

- Add a grouping option to the address book, for example off, def etc.
You can already use the [off] [ def] alliance specialization to be used as IGM-shortcut.
- Adding a drop down option in the village list which will then show your Oases around that village.

- In game chat for alliance only to have more direct communication and not having to rely on outside programs.
In the past alliance chat was not used and therefore it was removed.
- Add a new function to the Embassy building as after level 3 it doesn’t have much value.

- Ability to cancel merchants that are on their way between own villages
This would give you an option to ‘save’ resources when under attack, send them out and then cancel to get it back.
- Ability to cancel celebrations but with a resource penalty depending on how long it’s running already.
CP are given at the start, so then cancelling it will still give you the CP but at almost no cost. Would allow too much of abuse.
- To switch between villages by using the arrow keys on your keyboard and ability to set own keybindings for certain menu’s.

- A wish to have another superspeed 10X server someday.

- Merchants should walk faster if you have a tournament square.
This would make pushing too easy which we don’t want.
- Option to adjust hero production from 1/1/1/1 to for example 2/0/0/2.
It would add a level of micromanaging which we try to avoid.
- Daily Quests – make the Hero XP reward for day 4 to go against early tech account advantages.
Will add this to a discussion with the Ambassadors.
- On 401x401 maps, 2 confed + 1 NAP maximum
This would just increase the amount of alliance / confed hopping.
- Merchants to be able to be cancelled within the first 90 secs and allow resources to be raided during this time.
This would make it very complex and the merchant mechanics are already complex.
- Create a summary report once the last raid from a farm list has landed, giving the total amount that particular farm list send raided + losses – a feature available on Travian Kingdoms.
Will check how this is applied in Kingdoms – Would like to know how popular this wish is.
- A different set up for the ancient powers on the map so the server isn’t to predictable.

- Hero XP and defensive points based off of the strength of the troops, not the consumption. Players with smithy upgrades deserve better points/experience than players who don’t upgrade their troops. Romans with praetorians should deserve better XP/points compared to Egyptians with the same amount of slaves.
Interesting idea, will discuss internally.
- A button to ‘forward back’ reinforcements instead of ‘send back’ only. Often troops are stationed in hubs and should be forwarded back to that hub rather than to the owner. Often troops from hubs that reinforce come from many different players and sending them to specific coordinates by hand is time consuming.

- Make a combat simulator available for reports within the alliance.
Those simulations would show wrong information as you wouldn’t know the Smithy levels for example which would be confusing.
- Display any diplomacy agreements on the alliance’s page by default.
We want to allow secret diplomacy agreements.
- Disable sitters' ability to send away animal troops.
We don’t want to add exceptions to certain rules and keep them as streamlined as possible.
- A server where you buy-in for registration.
This has been tried in the past and wasn’t successful.
- The top 10 rankings to display your rank rather than a? when outside of the top 10.
The ‘?’ saves a lot of calculations that would otherwise need to be done on this page.
- Rework the offensive statistics and make it so that villages/buildings destroyed and/or conquered etc. also give offensive points.
Interesting suggestion – Which amount of offensive points should a building give? I’d like some thoughts and examples from the community.
- Display the average price of items on the auction page so (new) players can see if an item is worth it to buy/sell.

- Have fewer World Wonders based on the number of active players
This would bring more balancing issues which are not something we desire.
- Show a warning when sending chiefs on a raid that they can’t lower loyalty (similar warning for catapults).

- Option to calculate NPC for several buildings at once.
We want to encourage players to still figure out some info by themselves and to plan ahead.
- A way to not have a refresh when positioning the farm list after moving targets from one list to another.

The limit is there for balancing reasons and it should be a team effort rather than one player.

- A sort function in the battle report archive.

- A different scenario where Natars are much stronger and can attack back and build. Players gather in squadrons – max. 30 players – and receive points for the amount of damage towards the Natars. The winner is based on the number of points they’d gather.

- Add the bonuses from upgrading troops in the smithy.
We want to avoid sharing too many numbers. Besides this, the bonus is not a rounded number and changes with every level making it look too complicated.
- Show more information about which member donated what/how many towards the various alliance bonus.
We do not wish to highlight this in specific and also the list would be too long and needs a lot of extra calculations.
- Vacation mode seems to be abused in some domains – perhaps it needs a rework.
Will discuss Vacation Mode in general with the Ambassadors in the future.
- Idea for AS – A Tribe vs. Tribe special where members within the same alliance are only allowed to play the same tribe. Some concerns about balancing are raised.
A similar idea was raised internally but for now, discarded due to balancing problems.
- Increase the silver reward from adventure during late game.

- Change the order of starvation so that troops from players that have trade routes set up to the village that has the starvation die after players who do not feed their troops.
Has been discarded internally after many discussions. A 1 crop trade route would already circumvent this and where do you put the line?
- Possibility to increase the % bonus of the boots of the mercenary.

- Option to move around buildings (for a Gold price).
For now not possible while we have more pressing priorities to take care of first. Made a note for future development possibilities.
- To receive a report that somebody tried to settle on the same spot where you’re already in the process of settling first. Preferably including player names so players can show they were faster in settling in favourable locations.
While not in favour of a specific report we are looking into settling, in general, to see if there are points for improvements in general.
- A new artifact that would increase construction with 25% for a big artifact and 50% for a small artifact. Or introduce it for a region on Annual Special.
Wouldn’t this be too similar to the MB?
- Provide an exact time of arrival when sending resources hh:mm:ss
Unfortunately, this is not possible due to technical limitations we have to consider.
- Make the 15c into an 18c.
For now, no adjustments are planned as we have to prioritize other more pressing topics first. Is on our to-do list for the future.

- Each village will display the red swords when under attack, on the mobile version the villages are not visible. Create a red dot at the top that flashes red when an attack is incoming at any village to create a notification.

Conquering is already rather uncomplicated, this would make it too easy in our opinion.
- Ability to display all troops an account has inside the Embassy and allowing/disallowing the alliance leader to see the numbers. To assist the alliance leader in planning and organizing.

- Daily Quests scale with server age to provide more variety in goals and rewards.

Thank you for the feedback, currently the Gauls are the second most played tribe worldwide. There have been many discussions in the past years whether Gauls need or don’t need a buff or a nerf.
Currently, we do not have any changes planned for the Gaul in the backlog. I will keep your feedback into consideration for the future in case things change.
- Increase the number of sitter slots for a WW after it has reached level 10 to 5.

The UI is already very full and would end up being too cluttered with too many coloured indicators.
- Add a dropdown menu in each building/resource field to display the costs for all the levels. Instead of referring to Answers articles which make you go outside of the game.
Would clutter up the menu more while this info is only used in specific cases.
- Show the Nature troops in an oasis when hovering your mouse of the map tile.

- Option for more customization in the player profile, colour, background, font etc.

In the past there were more clicks involved, the request was to have it in one button which we did.

- Change the Helmet of the Gladiator to spawn at the same time as artworks. So not before 14 days (1x speed) in adventures.

- Give the winning player and/or alliance a reward at the end of the server. The reward can be a special medal or ribbon to display on their profile or a special hero item to be used. Even a unique hero item or skin to make it a unique reward for winning.
We are currently considering such possibilities, and are evaluating which persistent medals would make sense to generate at the end of the server.
- Option to not auto-refresh a page (Rally Point and Marketplace) until you manually refresh it. Sometimes a lot of actions happen on an account and you need to set attacks or trades.

- Move Hero Mansion to the resource tab.
The Hero Mansion is about Oasis annexation which increases resource production. On the other hand, Oasis occupied are a military asset that needs to be defended and controlled. This is why this building should stay in the Military tab.
- Change def points and hero XP gained when defending – the def strength should be taken into consideration instead of the crop consumption.
This would buff the Hero even more. Not planned to be changed.
- Change the individual climbers of the week medal to population gained in the week rather than ranks gained.

We do not allow this on purpose as a confed should not become a mass alliance.

The target lists already contain an overload of information, adding more would give too much clutter on the screen.
