    • Before the forum changed from VBulletin to Burning Board last year, the procedure for new members was set up differently. As a new member, you had to have your first 5 posts manually moderated, before being able to post on the forum freely.

This however caused a delay in posts being visible for genuine, new members as it depended on members of crew being around to moderate & ok the posts. But it did cut down on the amount of spam that was seen on the forum. Since the move to BB, this function is no longer enabled and the spam bots are exploiting this loophole.

Due to the smaller numbers of crew that are now around, would TG consider reinstating a similar policy to prevent the multiple spam posts that can be seen almost daily on the forum?
    • Almost daily?

Almost hourly is the right word to use in this case...

And your suggestion is something I have already spoke to the CM and SCM about, and it's apprently not possible. (hint: it is possible)

So guess we will just have to wait and see how they will handle the spam with inactive mods.

    • Yes, it is unbearable! Within 5 (?) Minutes, there were 1.5 pages of spam contributions from a single spambot ...

Either you make something impossible with an automatic, or you need active moderators who can take care of it immediately.

To reduce the team in such a situation seems downright ridiculous ...

Edit: We do not even have an ignoring function that you could hide the contributions of the individual bots then ... (also something urgently needed here)

    • i don't understand you guys, you don't want to keep seeing black magic specialists offers? or marriage specialists? because i like reading those instead of regular threads, because you never know when you could use a little black magic help

@Ameno as you have graced us with your presence, do you have any input, of any capacity, about recent events on this domain?
Hi. Well, that's quite a delicate topic. Since any changes in the team (and I believe you mean this by "recent events") can't be discussed neither publicly nor privately with anyone but involved parties due to signed NDA agreement, I am sorry to say that I can't give any comments.

I think due to the fact my removal was made public, before I was even informed and aware of the situation, renders the NDA null and void?
Incase you aren't sure about the NDA you signed when joining the staff, I would recommend talking to a lawyer instead of listening to Crunchie...Just to be safe ofc...I'm sure Crunchie will make a great lawyer!

Well if you can't or won't comment on specific events, can you confirm that the performance of our current CM Templar Knight is under review? It's clear that he is a considerable step down from the quality of Matt and currently holds a position of zero respect on this domain.
